🌊 TIDE POOLING is best in winter

Tide pooling is best in winter. We love going to Ocean Beach Pier, Cabrillo & Scripps Pier. Winter brings out some KING Tides when the levels are minus tides is when the ocean is furthest out, thus leaving even more of the undersea world to explore. You can go about an hour before and after the tides tables.

🌳 HIKING is best in winter

Some of our faves: San Dieguito County Park, Guy Fleming Trail, Mission Trails, Louis Stelzer, lagoon walks.

📚 WINTER READING PROGRAM
