🏛 MUSEUM MONTH

🦒 SAFARI PARK FREE SENIOR DAYS

Feb. 1-28. Adults ages 65+ receive FREE admission all month long at the Safari Park! Just show valid photo ID at turnstiles. Parking is not included ($15/car). Not valid at the San Diego Zoo, this is only for the Safari Park. 💻 More info here


 

🎪 CIRCUS VARGAS

Jan. 20 - Mar. 20. Acrobats, daredevils & flying trapeze. 2 hrs of nonstop fun! (No animals are involved.) 💻 Click here for all the info, dates, locations and Tips & Tricks For Seeing Circus Vargas with Kids.


💵 $18-$60. Free for under 2. DEALS: Look for coupons at nearby mall kiosks. (Seats: cheap seats in the back are just as good & quieter. Bring headphones for littles.)

🚜 TOUCH-A-TRUCK

Feb. 26 from 10a-3p. This annual event lets little drivers climb up and sit behind the wheel to honk the horn in all kinds of vehicles...construction, off-road, military, emergency, motorcycles, classic/exotic cars & helicopters. Best of all, 100% funds raised are donated to kids cancer research.

🐟 POWAY YOUTH FISHING DERBY

Feb. 3 at 5pm. LEARN TO FISH from the pros and watch demonstrations on how to properly rig a line the night before the Annual Youth Fishing Derby. The FISHING SEMINAR will begin at 5:00 PM on Feb. 3. Fishing Seminar is FREE! Must register online. 💻 More info here


Participants and their families are invited to spend the night for only $16 a car. Don't forget your camping and grilling supplies. Absolutely no fishing is permitted prior to the Derby.


Feb. 4 from 6am-12pm. Join the City of Poway, February 5, for an exciting day of fun and prizes at the FREE ANNUAL YOUTH FISHING DERBY! Freshly stocked with rainbow trout, the lake will be open only to youth ages 15 and younger from 6:00 AM-12:00 PM. Winners must be present to claim prizes at the awards ceremony. *Participants must check-in at the registration tables to receive their wristbands before fishing that morning. Fishing Derby is FREE with a FREE Hot Dog Lunch! Must register online.

🐶 BLUEY'S BIG PLAY

Feb. 24-26. When Dad feels like a Sunday afternoon time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans. Join them as they pull out all of the games and cleverness at their disposal to get Dad off that bean bag.

This is best in winter. Tide Pools we love: OB Pier, Scripps Pier, La Jolla Shores.


 

🌳 HIKING is best in winter

Hiking is best in winter. Some of our faves: Lake Calavera, Sunsest Cliffs, Los Penasquitos Canyon and Felicita Park.
