There are SO many Easter events happening this year and this list isn't even all of them! But, it's all I was able to put together on my own time. Several local churches have public community egg hunts and celebrations so check out your local churches for more Easter fun.
In addition to the usual egg hunt, most of these events have other activities like face painting, bouncy houses, live music, wine tasting, tractor rides and more! Click each event to see all the fun they have lined up.

April 1 & 2, 2023 from 9:30-11am. Easter Eggspress & Storytime will immerse children with an egg quest around the museum, special trains running in our Toy Train Gallery, arts & crafts, and storytime (from 10:30-11am). After you’ve finished your search for eggs and eaten some candy, enjoy a day of museum admission.

Sat, April 1, 2023 from 10am-12pm. FREE Special Needs Egg Hunt with Calvary San Diego at Cottonwood Park. This event has been thoughtfully planned out to create a fun and inviting environment for people with special needs. This includes specific egg hunts for people with visual impairments, mobility challenges, a quiet egg hunt for those with sensory sensitivities, and more. Sat, April 1, 2023 from 9:30-12pm. Join us for our annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt at The Plunge Pool at Belmont Park.
This event features open swim, a giant floating obstacle course, underwater and dry-land Easter egg hunts, bouncy houses and local vendors. Plus, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance for meet and greet photo opportunities! **The underwater egg hunt will include both floating and sunken eggs in the shallow end of the pool (2.5-3 feet of water) and a more challenging area for older children & adults in 6 feet of water.

🐣 CAMPO - EASTER BUNNY TRAIN RIDES
April 1, 2 & 8, 2023. The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo, always puts on fun holiday train rides throughout the year. Complete with a train ride, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg hunt, the Bunny Train event at the Museum is perfect for the whole family.
The celebration kicks off with a train ride. The Easter Bunny will board the train at the Campo Depot and visit with all of the passengers on the train before it travels through San Diego’s beautiful east-county mountains. After enjoying the 45-minute journey, the train stops at the Museum’s Display Building where more fun awaits. Two Easter egg hunting areas will be open for the children. One is geared towards our smallest travelers with eggs in plain sight; the other takes up the entire Display Building with eggs carefully hidden by the Easter Bunny. The children may turn in the plastic eggs they find to Museum volunteers for sweets and other prizes. The best part – entrance into the Display Building and both Easter egg hunts is included in the price of your train tickets!
