Crushing it at the playground!! 😂 🍇 Grape Day Park sure lives up to its name! You can even slide right through this bunch of grapes.✨ 🍇
This is a pretty big playground with lots of other fun climbing structures and swings behind this grapevine. (Swipe to see.) It's a registered landmark and home to the old train station 🚂 with historic buildings lining the edge of this park, like Escondido’s first library 📚 , an 1890’s Victorian house, barn & blacksmith shop, even an old tractor to climb on. 🚜

⚠️ CAUTIONS:
There's a busy street in front of this park on N. Broadway. The park is set back a ways, but watch out if your kids like to run away...

🥡 Across the other street is my favorite Chinese restaurant, Chin's Gourmet - grab some takeout!
🎭 On this same lot is the California Center for the Arts - they sometimes have great shows & programs for kids
🏊🏻♀️ Next door is the James A. Stone Municipal Swimming Pool (25-yard swimming pool and small children's pool)

2. There's a parking lot behind the California Center for the Arts, sometimes you have to pay during an event and sometimes it's free. This parking lot is on N. Escondido Blvd. between W Valley Pkwy & Woodward Ave.
