Unshelved: Cool Stuff from Storage


I love the new exhibit at The Nat, "Unshelved: Cool Stuff from Storage”! It’s a shame these beauties have been locked away for so long. Come see these Blue Morphos, Stick Bugs & other unusual creatures that finally get to be seen again. Did you know The Nat holds 8 million specimens in their storage areas?! They pulled out some Cool Stuff from their drawers so we can take a rare peek behind the scenes. The exhibit is free for members and included with your general admission. TODAY is FREE Resident Tuesday for The Nat (and our other 2 favorites, the Fleet Science Center and the Model Railroad Museum)! You’ll get in FREE today with your local or military ID. This Thursday is Nature & Me Storytime about Birds at The Nat. It’s held every 2nd Thurs/mo at 10:15am. 👇👇👇 The Nat, The Fleet and The SDMRM are all part of Museum Month so you’ll get 1/2 Off Admission all month long! Pick up your free Museum Pass at any local Macy’s store. Present it at one of the 48 participating museums for the entire month of February. Up to 4 people per pass will get 1/2 Off Admission.
